Adopting from Nepal: The Nepal Adoption Program
KAS is currently accepting applications for its 2010 Nepal program. There are only a few spots left.
Nepal is a country rich in history, although economically underdeveloped. The newly named central authority for Nepal has recently announced new rules for licensing agencies to facilitate international adoptions in a transparent and ethical manner. Families must be flexible and have a positive attitude when changes or unexpected delays occur. Infants, older children and special needs children are all in need of adoptive families. The adoption process time is currently unpredictable. It currenlty requires one trip to Nepal. KAS works directly with the Nepal Center for Adoption Affairs, who makes the referral for adoptive placement. |
